Nova Biomedical
Greene manufactures various precision-molded septa used to seal off fluids between chambers in Nova's Nucleus Analyzer.
In order to maintain stability in Quality Control, Greene Rubber created a 144-cavity mold marker on each cavity, numbered for identification. This molded part is critical to equipment accuracy. |

Biomedical Instrumentation Manufacturer Greene created a new process designed for a sensor gasket used in blood analysis equipment that transformed the part from being a cookie cut into a sophisticated process by working closely with the engineers which resulted in burr free parts cut from a high precision male/female die set.

Instrumentation Labs
Greene provided a gasket for a manufacturer of a blood analyzer that works as a shock absorber around a switch in the machine. The gasket is made from a general purpose medium density closed cell sponge rubber.
This molded part is critical to equipment accuracy.
For a leading manufacturer of Heart Defibrillators Greene also produces an EMI/RFI shield for a printed circuit board on a heart defibrillator. It is a laminated PVC/Aluminum die-cut part with zoned pressure sensitive adhesive. Pieces of silicone are also used to protect the instrument from getting wet when cleaning. Along with this service Greene provides 3M™ 9703 conductive tape and Poron® cellular urethane material for this part. |

An OEM found Tygon® R-3603 lab tubing was the ideal choice to replace generic PVC in their refrigerated lab cabinets. R-3603 carries both liquid and gas and is used as a drain line. It was chosen for its versatility, secure fitting attachment, wide temperature range and clarity.

A medical equipment manufacturer needed a blue extrusion to seal and match the outside of a pump that forces air to travel through tubing into a catheter that goes into the heart. Greene also provides Teflon® coated Buna O-Rings for this product.
Greene designed an EMI O-Ring for a medical manufacturer to be used in an endoscope for knee surgery. This medical manufacturer previously used a general o-ring but needed a conductive elastomer for EMI compliance. |
