Tubing and Assemblies

Tubing is an extruded, round shape made from rubber, plastic, or metal.  It is usually non-reinforced, but can be obtained with fabric or wire reinforcement for added strength and/or to prevent kinking during a bend.  Tubing differs from hose in that hose contains a tube, reinforcement for burst pressure, and an outside cover.

There are hundreds of materials and formulations available to suit your specific application.  In general, our tubing is either plastic or rubber based.  Plastic tubes are made from PVC, polyethylene, polypropylene, PTFE, FEP, PFA, and nylon.  Our rubber tubes are made from neoprene, latex, thermoplastic, polyurethane, natural gum rubber, silicone, and fluorocarbon.
