Greene Rubber stocks a variety of molded
parts which are standard, on the shelf: bumpers, grommets,
bushings, washers, tips, stoppers, masking, bumpers, tack,
and machine screw bumpers, recessed, button and stem bumpers,
crutch tips, suction cups and vibration isolators. These
Standard Molded Productsare made in various compounds and
durometer hardness ratings. Most are molded from Neoprene,
but the most common shapes and sizes are available in more
than one compound or durometer

requirements. These applications could include special materials,
rubber to metal bonding, or custom design to solve your
motion accomodation or shock and vibration problems.
Since 1931 Greene Rubber has been offering

Many of these solutions could require specialty
elastomer or include metal insert bonded directly to the
elastomer which can improve installation ease and mechanical
performance and avoid glue or adhesive inconsistencies.
Production molding methods available are compression, transfer,
LIM and injection.

EXTRUSIONS
An extrusion is a long length of rubber pushed through a mold plate in the shape of a tube, a “P”, “D”, “U” or other irregular shape. Greene Rubber has a large inventory of standard extrusions. Most standard extrusions are made from a neoprene compound between 45 – 65 durometer.
